Who We Are

We are part of a global community of Bahá'ís.

Bahá'ís are people who accept the oneness of humanity, religion, and God, and strive for a just and peaceful world through selfless acts of service. We believe that throughout history God has sent His messengers in order to help us advance civilization, and that Baha'u'llah is the most recent of these messengers.

What We Do

As Bahá'ís, around the world and here at home, we meet with friends in our neighborhoods to pray, study, grow, serve, and learn what it means to be spiritual beings.

We believe that community building requires spiritual development, as well as social and intellectual development. That's why, in addition to hosting devotional meetings, we, along with friends, provide a variety of free activities that nurture spiritual growth, bonds of friendship, and a desire to contribute to the betterment of the community through acts of service. These activities include classes for children, groups for young people, and study circles for people from all backgrounds.

Each of these activities allows us to explore the connection between prayer and bettering our community through service. In our devotional meetings, we are learning how to create community spaces for reflection, sharing, and support. Through children's classes, we teach kids about developing virtues that will guide them through life as they grow to become caring, helpful, and successful adults. Together with junior youth, we are examining our world, where we fit into it, and how we can serve those around us. In the company of friends, we are studying the Bahá'í writings, engaging in deep and meaningful conversations, and arising together to offer service to our community. The aim of these varied activities is the same: To build vibrant communities, and promote the well-being of everyone who crosses our path.
